Transplant was a Success!

Needless to say Matt Is feeling good today! They had him up walking with a walker…followed by a recliner/chair. When he stood up…the nurses said, “ohhh you really are tall!!!” (Even though the chair was “protocol”, I’m sure that they realized it would take all 3 of them to catch him and or pick him up).

I will say his O2 was a little low and his sugar is extremely high, but his care team is on it. They said he is doing great for being post op for less than 24 hours.

He also thanked me for taking care of him….I said it is no problem….just remember this when I want to go to Europe for 2 weeks ( David, Libbi, and Warner he didn’t agree….but I planted the seed).
