First, thank you for your patience. I haven't posted in a while due to some health issues and life in general.

Health Issues
The last couple months I've been battling problems with my feet. Being off my feet for so long, I didn't realize that "hitting the ground running" was not the best option. Tissue broke down, became infected and I faced the real option of amputation.
Thankfully, while following strict orders, I healed up and am better again. It was a bad time especially for someone that was in the state of depression that I was.
Medication adjustments have become the norm after bloodwork each month. It will continue to be a test and adjust, especially when my body and environment are always changing. Just have to be adaptive and do my best.
Recently, I had an issue with my hemoglobin and apparently my body is making too much blood. This s bad because it causes my blood pressure to go up and makes me susceptible to having a stroke.
I travelled to Norton Brownsboro this morning for what I refer to as my "bloodletting." They took about the same amount that they do when you donate blood and then threw the bag o' blood into the hazardous waste bin to be destroyed.
They used to recommend that you just go give blood to remedy this but due to restrictions this is no longer the case.
The depression is still here more than ever. My severe neuropathy feeds directly into this and makes me question my quality of life every single day. It's my kids, wide and friends that get me through it.
A day does not go by without me experiencing severe pain in my feet and hands.
One possible remedy (kind of) is medical marijuana and/or edibles. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear made an executive order to allow citizens to possess a certain amount legally with a prescription. The challenge is you cannot buy it in Kenticky (yet) but it can be purchased out of State.
Friends
I learned some valuable lessons over the past few weeks. Some people who I thought were friends, were actually just wolves in sheep's clothing. At the same time, there are amazing people out there and they can come from the most unexpected places.
No matter where you are in your life, you need a solid support system.
Starting a new business? You need the right support system.
Recovering from surgery? You need the right support system.
Whatever it is, make sure you surround yourself with those who love and care for you and do not be hesitant to accept their support.
