COVID - THIS IS NOT A DRILL

Last week a parent at Ozzie’s daycare sent their child to daycare knowing the child’s sibling was very sick showing COVID symptoms. We were required to keep him home to quarantine and have him tested. He tested positive and is OK with no symptoms.
On Labor Day I had some small sniffles and figured the weather is changing and it is the norm. I tested positive for COVID and that night it hit me like a freight train. I have been locked away in my bedroom and do not leave for anything except dialysis.
The dialysis folks are opening a clinic in LaGrange, KY (30 min away) where it is just me, a nurse and a tech taking care of me. I am overly thankful they are doing this for multiple reasons. I will continue to use that facility until I have two consecutive negative tests and I will be able to go back to my normal place.
