Today was my first transplant visit/checkup in weeks. Had labs drawn and received a call back this afternoon that my white blood cell count is low. They told me to take additional precautions with health safety as it is easier to get sick right now. Another med adjustment and continue to move forward. In addition, they also have suspended all blood pressure medicine until we can get a handle on it.



We still have not heard from the Gastro folks regarding having my gallbladder removed. When I saw my transplant doctor today he mentioned that he would rather have it at UK Hospital in Lexington. We agreed and they are working on expediting the process. The drive to Lexington will be worth it!
